Glaxo Sues Over Breathe Right Strips Patent

Law360, New York (October 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A subsidiary of pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline PLC sued bandage company ASO LLC on Thursday for allegedly infringing its patent for nasal dilator strips, which it sells under the name Breathe Right.

GSK subsidiary CNS and Creative Integration & Design Inc. — which owns the '362 patent and licenses it to CNS — said in their complaint that ASO infringed the patent by violating an earlier agreement between several companies, including CNS and Schering-Plough Healthcare Products Inc.
