Mass. Asbestos Appeal To Be Significant

Law360, New York (October 1, 2012, 1:40 PM EDT) -- In December 2011, a Massachusetts Superior Court judge granted motions for summary judgment in Whiting v. Alfa Laval Inc., a wrongful death asbestos action. The plaintiff in this case alleged that her husband’s mesothelioma and subsequent death were caused by his exposure to asbestos-containing products while he served in the U.S. Navy.
