Trader Joe's Recalls Peanut Butter Over Salmonella Concerns

Law360, New York (September 24, 2012, 2:50 PM EDT) -- Trader Joe's Co. announced Friday it is recalling its Creamy Salted Valencia Peanut Butter after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration informed the grocery chain that it is investigating a multistate salmonella outbreak linked to the product.

The FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said 29 people in 18 states have suffered salmonella infections from an outbreak strain possibly linked to the Trader Joe's peanut butter.
