Astellas Resolves Adenoscan Disputes With Teva

Law360, New York (October 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Astellas Pharma Inc.’s U.S. units and others have settled two lawsuits against a division of Israeli generics maker Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. for allegedly infringing patents covering pharmacologic stress agent Adenoscan.

Monday’s agreement allows Teva to market and sell its generic version of the drug under a license in September 2012.

Teva’s abbreviated new drug application for a generic copy of Adenoscan triggered the pair of lawsuits in May 2005 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. Astellas sued Teva along with co-plaintiffs...
