Unclear Standards For Idaho's Restrictive Covenants

Law360, New York (September 26, 2012, 3:12 PM EDT) -- In this time of health care consolidation, many, if not most, employment or contractor agreements with health care professionals contain clauses that prevent the professional from competing with or soliciting patients from the employer for a certain period of time after termination. The status of such noncompetition or nonsolicitation clauses ("restrictive covenants") is somewhat ill-defined in Idaho.
