Ex-Pipe Fitting Co. Manager Denies Collusion With Rivals

Law360, Washington (September 25, 2012, 9:34 PM EDT) -- A former Star Pipe Products Ltd. sales manager told the Federal Trade Commission on Tuesday that he had not conspired with rivals to raise prices for ductile iron pipe fittings, claiming Star had responded to competitors' continual discounts and customer pressure for higher prices with standard business practices.
