US Fidelis Exec Gets 8 Years For $71M Refund Scheme

Law360, New York (September 25, 2012, 5:35 PM EDT) -- A Missouri federal judge on Tuesday sentenced U.S. Fidelis Inc. co-owner Darain Atkinson to eight years in prison over a $71 million refund scam at the bankrupt car warranty dealer, one week after his brother and business partner received a three-year jail term.
