ACE, OneBeacon May Face Sanctions In Trade Secrets Suit

Law360, New York (September 26, 2012, 2:42 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Tuesday threatened to sanction both ACE American Insurance Co. and OneBeacon U.S. Holdings Inc. if the insurers do not reveal worker emails and relevant depositions in their dispute over alleged poached workers and pilfered trade secrets.

In an order granting OneBeacon's motion to compel, U.S. District Judge Paul S. Diamond said ACE has not been forthcoming enough in the initial discovery phase, and gave it until Friday to provide full and complete responses to OneBeacon’s interrogatories or else face possible sanctions.
