LG Accuses Samsung Of Infringing OLED Patents In Korea

Law360, New York (September 27, 2012, 7:32 PM EDT) -- LG Display Co. Ltd. reportedly sued Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. in South Korea on Thursday, accusing its rival liquid crystal display maker of infringing a series of patents related to organic light-emitting diode technology in its smartphones and tablet computers.

LG alleges that Samsung has infringed a total of seven of its OLED patents, saying that these patents are being unlawfully incorporated in smartphones and tablets, Yonhap News Agency said.
