HHS To Give Out $224M In Latest Round Of Exchange Grants

Law360, New York (September 27, 2012, 6:33 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Thursday announced the latest round of federal grants to help states build and roll out their insurance exchanges, doling out about $224 million to five states and the District of Columbia.

The states — Arkansas, Colorado, Kentucky, Minnesota and Massachusetts — each received their second or third level-one establishment grant. The establishment grants are one-year grants that help states build their insurance exchanges.
