DOI Pays $43M To Navajo Nation For 280-Mile Water Pipeline

Law360, New York (September 28, 2012, 3:30 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior said Thursday it will funnel $43 million into a 280-mile pipeline project to carry water to Navajo communities in New Mexico and Arizona whose supplies are drying up, covering a piece of the project's first phase.
