Enbridge Gets Green Light For $1B Pipeline Expansion

Law360, New York (September 27, 2012, 8:21 PM EDT) -- A Canadian regulator has given an Enbridge Inc. unit its approval for a pipeline expansion project that is expected to cost at least CA$1 billion ($1.01 billion), paving the way for a 2015 in-service start, the energy company announced Thursday.

Alberta's Energy Resources Conservation Board gave its stamp of approval to Enbridge Pipeline (Woodland) Inc. to build the Woodland Pipeline Extension Project. The company is still waiting for final commercial approval from shippers to start field construction, the company said.
