DOJ Wants Florida West's Financials In Price-Fixing Case

Law360, New York (October 1, 2012, 7:09 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice on Friday asked a Florida federal judge to force Florida West International Airways Inc. to release key financial documents the government says it needs to make a sentencing recommendation for the airline following its no-contest plea in a price-fixing scheme.

The DOJ argued that Florida West’s hesitancy to release missing financial records before its Nov. 2 sentencing makes it impossible for the department to issue an accurate sentencing recommendation.
