US Trustee Wants Plastech Ch. 11 Converted To Ch. 7

Law360, New York (October 2, 2012, 6:57 PM EDT) -- The U.S. trustee overseeing Plastech Engineered Products Inc.'s bankruptcy sought Tuesday to convince a Michigan bankruptcy judge to convert the proceedings from a Chapter 11 to a Chapter 7 case, saying the auto supplier has failed to comply with its confirmed plan's terms.

U.S. Trustee Daniel M. McDermott asked U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Phillip J. Shefferly to order the case, which was commenced Feb. 1, 2008, and confirmed that December, to be converted to a Chapter 7 liquidation.
