Law360, New York (October 3, 2012, 2:22 PM EDT) -- In a period of two days at the end of September, two different federal district courts issued opinions allowing whistleblower retaliation claims under the Dodd-Frank Act to proceed. These cases may be the first instances where such claims survived a motion to dismiss by defendants and are likely just the start of success for retaliation claims brought under the Dodd-Frank Act.
