Pa. County Challenges Approval Of Exide Smelter Upgrades

Law360, Philadelphia (October 3, 2012, 6:39 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania county on Monday appealed the state Department of Environmental Protection’s approval of a plan for Exide Technologies Inc. to enclose an existing smelter facility, claiming the company failed to show how the plan would meet federal air quality standards.
