HHS Inspector General Plans New Reviews Of ACA Programs

Law360, New York (October 3, 2012, 9:06 PM EDT) -- A U.S. Department of Health and Human Services watchdog will launch reviews of two major Affordable Care Act health insurance initiatives, part of a wider examination of both the law’s newly mandated programs and its effect on existing HHS programs, it announced Tuesday.

According to the the HHS Office of Inspector General's announcement, it plans to review 29 ACA-mandated and ACA-affected programs over the next year, including its first looks at both a grant program to help establish state health insurance exchanges and a loan program...
