Law360, New York (October 4, 2012, 2:14 PM EDT) -- Patent licensing company Wi-LAN Inc. hit LG Electronics Inc. with a new patent infringement lawsuit over television technology in Florida federal court on Wednesday, several months after a judge tossed Wi-LAN's last TV patent case against the Korean electronics giant.
Wi-LAN says LG's flat panel televisions infringe two of its patents, one for piping interlaced television signals into progressive scan monitors and the other for increasing the frame rate of a digital television signal.
