Conn. Judge Backs State's 1st $12M Wind Farm

Law360, New York (October 4, 2012, 2:44 PM EDT) -- A Connecticut state judge on Monday backed the first proposed wind farm in the state, rejecting a challenge by residents who argued that a state agency improperly approved the six-turbine project they claim will harm the environment and nearby residents.

Superior Court Judge Henry S. Cohn said the Connecticut Siting Council properly assessed the project's impact on the natural environment, including on air and water quality, and whether the project was consistent with the state's energy plan before approving the $12 million Wind Colebrook North project...
