Qantas, Emirates Nix Bid For Early Approval Of Alliance

Law360, New York (October 4, 2012, 4:39 PM EDT) -- Qantas Airways Ltd. and Emirates Airline have pulled their bid for temporary approval to negotiate a proposed partnership after they determined they did not require an interim nod from regulators that would have allowed more coordination between the companies, Australia's competition watchdog said Thursday.
