EPA Has Right To Revoke Coal Co.'s Permit, DC Circ. Hears

Law360, New York (October 4, 2012, 4:52 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Wednesday told the D.C. Circuit that under the Clean Water Act it had the authority to revoke Mingo Logan Coal Co.'s permit to discharge materials into streams, arguing the company's interpretation of the act in the dispute contradicts the law's text.
