High Court Asked To Weigh Patent 'No-Challenge' Clauses

Law360, New York (October 4, 2012, 5:22 PM EDT) -- A patent-holding company last week asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a ruling that killed its $12 million contract suit against Best Buy Co. Inc. and voided a licensing deal that barred challenges to the validity of its patents, saying it contradicted Federal Circuit precedent.
