Biovail, J&J Unit Hit Par With Third Ultram Suit

Law360, New York (October 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of plaintiffs including Purdue Pharma Products LP and Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Ortho-McNeil Inc. has filed a patent suit against Par Pharmaceuticals in a bid to protect the market for the chronic pain treatment Ultram, marking at least the third suit the plaintiffs have filed against Par over Ultram since May.
