Gulf States Fight For Share Of Potential Deepwater Deal

Law360, New York (October 4, 2012, 7:23 PM EDT) -- U.S. Congressional Republicans representing Gulf Coast states urged Attorney General Eric Holder on Thursday to ensure their states get the majority of any negotiated settlement with BP PLC in multidistrict litigation over the 2010 Deepwater Horizon spill, though observers believe the suit is headed for trial.
