Sanofi, Merck JV Recalls Faulty Typhoid Vaccine, UK Says

Law360, New York (October 9, 2012, 2:07 PM EDT) -- A Sanofi SA and Merck & Co. vaccine manufacturing joint venture has recalled 16 batches of typhoid vaccine after determining discrepancies in the manufacturing process may diminish its effectiveness, resulting in an expected shortage of the product, a British drug regulator announced Monday.
