Justices Won't Hear Chevron's $19B Ecuador Judgment Appeal

Law360, New York (October 9, 2012, 3:41 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court won't help Chevron in its attempt to evade a $19 billion judgment handed down in Ecuador over pollution, announcing Tuesday it declined to hear the energy giant's appeal of the Second Circuit's refusal to block enforcement of the foreign court's ruling.
