Army Corps Faces Suit Over Railway Project Discharge

Law360, New York (October 9, 2012, 4:34 PM EDT) -- The Sierra Club and two other groups lodged a suit in Alaska federal court on Friday alleging the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers illegally authorized the discharge of 1.6 million cubic yards of fill material into area waters to accommodate a $272 million railway extension project.
