Medicare Pay Needs Regional Adjustments, MedPAC Says

Law360, New York (October 9, 2012, 6:08 PM EDT) -- The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission recommended Thursday that Congress allow a long-delayed Medicare payment adjustment for doctors and other health care professionals go into effect, but said more study was needed before setting a final rate for the geographically based adjustment.
