Fireman's Owes Up To $14M For Biz Loss, Castings Maker Says

Law360, Chicago (October 10, 2012, 2:25 PM EDT) -- Signicast LLC is going after Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. for coverage of business income loss of up to $14 million the metal castings maker claims it suffered after a 2009 facility fire, according to the lawsuit Fireman's removed to Wisconsin federal court Tuesday.

In its state court complaint, Signacast said it is seeking a court declaration that the general liability policy it bought from Fireman's covers the business income loss tied to the fire at its Brown Deer, Wis., plant.
