EU Reduces Dumping Duties On Chinese Fasteners

Law360, New York (October 10, 2012, 3:46 PM EDT) -- The European Union said Wednesday that it has trimmed anti-dumping duties on iron and steel fasteners from China in light of a 2011 World Trade Organization ruling that found the EU's treatment of the fasteners was out of step with its WTO commitments.

The European Commission reassessed the findings of its original investigation into the Chinese fasteners, taking into account the rulings and recommendations of the WTO's dispute settlement body, the EU's official journal said.
