Massive Recall Opens Up Toyota To Economic, Warranty Claims

Law360, New York (October 10, 2012, 8:38 PM EDT) -- Though personal injuries reported in connection with Toyota Motor Corp.'s unprecedented 7.4 million vehicle recall on Wednesday appear to be minimal, attorneys say the automaker could still be exposed to massive liability on economic loss and breach of warranty claims given the sheer number of car owners involved and the risk of fire tied to the defect.
