MasTec Settles Wage-And-Hour Suit For $12M

Law360 (October 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Communications contractor MasTec Inc. has agreed to pay up to $12.6 million to settle claims in a wage-and-hour lawsuit involving current and former employees in states across the country, the company announced Friday.

The litigation, according to MasTec, involves the company's satellite TV service technicians, who install systems in customers' homes. Claims in the case date back as far as 2001.
