McWane Policies Killed Competition, Expert Says In FTC Trial

Law360, Washington (October 11, 2012, 3:36 PM EDT) -- McWane Inc.'s domestic ductile iron pipe fittings monopoly gave it opportunities to manipulate the import market via customer and competitor policies that could have weakened overall competition, according to an expert witness during the company's Federal Trade Commission price-fixing trial Thursday.
