Govt. Contractor Slapped With Race Suit

Law360, New York (October 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Three black men have filed a lawsuit against native-Alaskan-owned government contractor Akima Corp., accusing the defendant of failing to include them as part of its workforce because of their race.

Claude Murray, Jeremy George and Kevin Anderson lodged their civil rights lawsuit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina seeking unspecified damages.
