Kasowitz, Dickstein Shapiro Hit With Suit Over Unpaid Bills

Law360, New York (October 11, 2012, 7:57 PM EDT) -- Trial consulting firm DecisionQuest Inc. on Wednesday sued Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman LLP, Dickstein Shapiro LLP and a roofing manufacturer in New York state court for allegedly failing to pay almost $1 million in fees incurred in a 2009 trial.

In a complaint filed in New York state court, DecisionQuest said the two law firms and Building Materials Corp. of America, which does business as GAF, owe $855,319 for services the consulting firm rendered in litigation in New Jersey between GAF and its insurer....
