Gore Says Ex-Worker Launched Rival Cos. Using Stolen Tech

Gore & Associates Inc. on Monday sued an ex-employee for attempting to profit off its proprietary research, accusing the former research scientist of masterminding Chinese and Taiwanese ventures to produce and market advanced laminated fabrics in violation of a court order.

Filed in Delaware Chancery Court, the suit alleges Huey Shen Wu used knowledge gained during his 14-year tenure at Gore to launch a number of recent ventures based on its polytetrafluorethylene technology, in contempt of a court injunction barring him from the polymer field...
