5th Circ. Rejects Firm's Bid To Choose Malpractice Counsel

Law360, Chicago (October 16, 2012, 8:12 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit on Monday rejected Coats Rose Yale Ryman & Lee PC's argument that it had the right to choose independent counsel to defend a malpractice suit after its insurer, Navigators Group Inc., allegedly implied it was tying coverage to the outcome of that litigation.
