In-House Counsel Expect Slight Bump In 2013 Labor Spending

Law360, New York (October 17, 2012, 4:17 PM EDT) -- Corporate legal teams will modestly increase their budgets for outside employment and labor services in 2013, but the market is expected to level off and start contracting over the next five years, a new report on corporate legal spending says.

Spending on outside employment attorneys should rise by 1.9 percent over the next year, continuing a consistent, but gradual, four-year increase and reaching $5.55 billion, according to the Premium Practices Forecast 2013 report from The BTI Consulting Group (Wellesley, Mass.).
