Walter Energy Sues National Union For Slurry Spill Coverage

Law360, New York (October 18, 2012, 2:01 PM EDT) -- Coal company Walter Energy Inc. brought suit Wednesday asking the Alabama federal court to declare that National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa., is obligated to cover it for millions of dollars in cleanup costs from a 2011 coal slurry spill.
