Ex-Sales Reps Challenge J&J Unit's Noncompete Deal

Law360, New York (October 18, 2012, 2:27 PM EDT) -- Former sales representatives for Johnson & Johnson cardiac device unit Biosense Webster Inc. sued the company in Florida federal court on Wednesday, claiming its employment agreements improperly restrict them from selling devices for new employer St. Jude Medical Inc.

Douglas Kissell, William Hamel and Adam Dietterich claim that Biosense, in enforcing the agreements, is preventing them from selling St. Jude products that don't compete with Biosense products in their old sales territories and competing products anywhere outside their old sales territories.
