Pa. Utility Regulators Set Gas And Electric Marketing Rules

Law360, Philadelphia (October 24, 2012, 4:15 PM EDT) -- Pennsylvania utility regulators on Wednesday signed off on final regulations governing marketing and sales practices used by state electricity generators and natural gas suppliers looking to court new customers.

The regulations, which were approved by a unanimous vote of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, establish best practices for door-to-door marketing, telemarketing, and sales by electric and gas suppliers and any entity conducting activities on their behalf.
