DVT Plaintiff Allowed Further Discovery Against AA

Law360, New York (October 31, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A court ruled on Tuesday that a woman who sued American Airlines Inc. for allegedly causing her to suffer a dangerous blood clot is entitled to further discovery, wrapping up a multidistrict litigation that has yielded mostly dismissals.

The court had earlier limited several plaintiffs' discovery in the case, denying their requests to depose flight crews, among others.
