GPS Regs Would Curb NY Overpass Smashes, Sen. Says

Law360, New York (October 25, 2012, 7:02 PM EDT) -- An explosion of drivers using personal global positioning devices to navigate New York's roadways has led to a "dramatic increase" in trucks smashing into bridges, Sen. Charles Schumer said Thursday, calling on the federal government to come up with national standards for the technology.
