Conoco's Complaint Over $500M Pipeline Premature, FERC Says

Law360, New York (October 26, 2012, 8:08 PM EDT) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Friday dismissed ConocoPhillips Co.'s complaint opposing Spectra Energy Corp.'s $500 million plan to expand its Texas Eastern gas pipeline in Pennsylvania, calling the objection premature.

A panel of FERC commissioners said the pipeline expansion plan is still in the prefiling process with the commission and Conoco should voice any objections to it in that proceeding.
