MF Global's UK Administrator Seeks Ruling On Claims Values

Law360, New York (October 30, 2012, 7:17 PM EDT) -- KMPG LLP, which administers MF Global Holdings Ltd. in the U.K., reportedly sought judgment Tuesday on the brokerage’s customer assets valuation date, which will affect the value of claims held by 700 customers.

At the start of a two-day trial in London’s High Court, KMPG asked a judge to determine whether the assets’ should be based on their value on the day of MF Global’s collapse, Oct. 31, 2011, or on the day when the assets were liquidated, according to a Bloomberg report.
