Enviros Lose Bid To Block Coal Mine Near Bryce Canyon

Law360, New York (October 31, 2012, 7:47 PM EDT) -- The Utah chapter of the Sierra Club on Tuesday lost its bid to block a coal mine near Bryce Canyon National Park when the Utah Supreme Court ruled that state regulatory boards correctly assessed the mine's effects on groundwater and a nearby historic area before allowing the 440-acre operation.
