NAACP Joins Race Bias Action Against Eli Lilly

Law360, New York (November 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has jumped into a growing putative class action alleging that Eli Lilly & Co. discriminated against black employees and compensated them less than their white co-workers.

The plaintiffs, now more than 50 strong, filed an amended complaint on Wednesday against the Indianapolis-based pharmaceutical company in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
