AHA Urges MedPAC To Back Off Rate Reductions

Law360, New York (November 1, 2012, 6:15 PM EDT) -- The American Hospital Association has blasted a Medicare proposal to pay the same amount for outpatient procedures performed in hospitals or doctors’ offices, saying the policy threatens billions of dollars in funding and ignores hospitals’ duty to provide emergency care.
