WEC Carolina Urges High Court To Clarify CFAA's Scope

Law360, New York (November 1, 2012, 9:12 PM EDT) -- A Fourth Circuit ruling that said the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act doesn't impose liability on authorized workers who breach computer use policies widened a circuit split on the CFAA's applicability to employees, WEC Carolina Energy Solutions LLC said in a petition for high court review.
