On Review, ITC Finds Griffin IPod Touch Case Infringes

Law360, New York (November 5, 2012, 7:01 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has determined on review that Griffin Technology Inc.'s protective case for Apple Inc.'s iPod Touch does in fact infringe a patent held by Otter Products LLC, running against a previous finding, according to a preview of Tuesday's Federal Register.

The ITC said it has reversed an earlier final initial determination that Griffin’s “Survivor” iPod Touch case does not infringe a patent held by Otter, which has been successful in pegging its competitor with infringement allegations related to two other protective cases....
